So you're driving around along the country roads and you come to the little town of Alden, you don't expect to find a chocolate shop of this quality sitting right here in town. You can almost taste the deliciousness as you walk in the front doors.

The place is immaculate with an attention to detail that just is out of place in most modern businesses but again this is not a modern business but instead one that has survived a long time and deserves more credit than it gets..

I love dark chocolate and the lady behind the counter offered me to try one that turned out to have a liquid center that just burst in my mouth, oh my gosh it was so good.. My teenage son called it a chocolate love bomb..

Needless to say I highly recommend this beautiful chocolate...

We were passing through and your shop caught my eye. We stopped in and Karen served us. She was super nice and answered all our questions. She even gave us samples of a few of the chocolates you have. I had never had sponge candy and it was pretty good and melts in your mouth. I was so impressed with all the many different molds of candy that were in the store. Karen also told us you ship so we will be placing an order for Easter! We are from South Carolina but when we are return to the area, we will back to your store.

My son is working construction in the Alden area and he got me a large bag of sponge candy one day on his way home to Lakewood, NY. It was great, large cubes of the sponge and a perfect coating. I live in Ashville, NY near Jamestown and I've been getting sponge candy from Romolo's in Erie Pa. but theirs is small thin strips of sponge and Henry's blows theirs away with the large size. In fact when my son told me he was almost done with the job up that way I said before you leave the area get me some more sponge candy.
