I discovered this shop last year in the fall. What a delight! Gorgeous fabrics and wonderful patterns. They carry Babylock machines and Florini embroidery supplies as well as KimberBell. Check out their website for the class calendar, club information and local events. They offer kitted projects designed by their instructors. The walls and shelves have display samples to motivate you. The notions wall is expanding with some of those hard to find sewing necessities. They have 2 long arms to help you finish your quilting projects. The shop stocks yarn, but I don't crochet or knit so I can't speak to that concern. I just finished my first ever wool applique table runner with Nancy George. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was a fun day and I can't wait for her next class. It was fun to have the new store owner on site. I enjoyed meeting her and chatting with the other students. They carry a small range of Steam Punk quilt and embroidery projects. They have a rewards program. They keep tabs on your spending s generate coupons for use on your next project. The good go news is you don't have to lug the coupons around with you. They are at the store with your name on them. The store accepts major credit cards. When you are done shopping skip down to the local bakery and get yourself a cookie the size of a dinner plate. Walking through the door at Creekside Fabrics and Quilts is like coming home. Owner, Sandu Purdy, who seems to be there all the time, greets her customers like old friends. Despite the mask, the smile in her eyes is genuine and interest in whatever you are working on, sincere. All staff seem to have been inoculated with Sandy-ism as they are always pleasant and helpful. The fabric stock is interesting and never dull. The machines one purchases there are of the highest quality in order to meet with Sandy's standards. You must visit. What a wonderful shop!! Everyone there is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They know their fabrics and their machines. Stephanie, the owner, took the time to review all the machine choices and worked with me, so I could make the best choice for me. Their fabrics are beautiful, so of course, I had to get some fabric to go with my new machine....and did I mention that in the spring, I took a quilt top there, and they did an amazing job on the quilt!!
