Main Street Grille — Restaurant in Town of Arcade

First time my family and me dining at this Bar & Grill. Along with 2 other family members,I tried the Zuppa Toscana (soup of the day). We agreed it was excellent. For my main course, I had the 'Black and Blue' Sirloin Steak Dinner with French Fries & Coleslaw.

Besides the 2 other family members who only had soup, 2 tried Friday's fish offerings, 1 ate wings & the last had the 'Weck & Chick' (Beef on Weck & Chicken Fingers). All agreed, each of their choices were great as well. The portions were also generous. There is a full bar with draft beer, so I ordered the Lake View Lager, which was nice & refreshing.

The prices are moderate at about $14.00 for sandwiches and $14-$19 for dinners. The soup is $5.00/bowl.

The service was wonderful. This was due to the staff being very accommodating and our server being outstanding. She went above and beyond, never missing the mark.

The decor is bright & modern southwestern with decorative lizards on the walls. There wasn't any music played here on this night, however public Wi-Fi was available. Takeout is also an available option.

This was our first visit, so happy we stopped here ! The restaurant is casual with great atmosphere & decor, very clean, even the restrooms. Ample parking. There is a separate bar area , so bring the kids along. The menu has a lot of variety with moderate prices. We chose an appetizer of banana peppers stuffed with mozzarella cheese that were partially in a crunchy wrap, fantastic! There were 5, served with marinara for dipping. My husband & I both chose the open faced roast beef served over toast. Wow, was it ever great ! The beef made on site, was tender & flavorful. The fries were short, thin cut sticks. The beef & fries were covered with delicious HOMEMADE gravy. This was the real stuff, not out of a jar or packet of powder, & yes, I asked ! We throughly enjoyed this comfort food. What made the experience even better was our waitress, Liz. She was so pleasant, great personality & very helpful. It is unusual to find such a great place in a small town. Friday night I took the whole family 9 of us to the Arcade & Attica Railroad for the Santa's Wonderland Express train ride which the grandkids loved. Afterward I took the 9 of us to The Main Street Grille for dinner. We were warmly greeted by our server Miranda who took great care of us as well as being patient with so many of us. Miranda made great suggestions for us as well as gave us the specials of the night. The food was very tasty, hot and presented well. Miranda was timely in her bringing the food and the such without being overbearing. Miranda was very friendly and we all appreciated her.
