This place has alittle bit of everything especially if you camp at the camp grounds up the road. We grabbed a quick bite nothing special but very convenient when you are hungry and under prepared. We got some stuff from the shop. They sell bait to fish, food, some camping supplies, clothes and so much more. The staff was really nice and helpful. They have a place to sit and eat or just grab a coffee sit and relax to the view. There are bathrooms and showers in the area for campers. They also have a snowcone stand and ice cream shop right before you come in. We visited in August not sure these are year round. But over all great experience.

This place is ironically called Devil's Lake, ironic because I swear I could feel Him looking over my shoulder, smiling beatifically, as I hiked the five hundred foot bluffs...stopping to meditate on a rocky outcropping overlooking the lake. Turns out the name is the result of a misinterpretation of the Native American word for spirit, so if you are looking for a spiritual reset, you would do well to come here and forget about all those worldly clamors for a spell...odds are, if you seek it here, then you shall find it, and more.

Consessions were not open. Even in late March, there were plenty of people about. We hiked all the way over East Bluff, around South shore, over Tumbled Rock Trail, around North Shore and back to our vehicle left at the trail head. Balanced Rock trail is the most difficult. Enjoyed the handiwork of The Creator God. Thinking we saw evidence of the Noahic Flood, when God judged sin in ages past.

My husband and I almost drowned after renting two kayaks because a storm came, and we still paid full price. Fine, whatever. We didnt say anything because we were already shaken up. I wanted to buy a sweater (because I was drenched from the capsized waves and cold) and it took 3 staff members and 10 minutes to ring it up. My little cousin ordered a hot chocolate and the girl behind the counter straight up said "I don't want to. Can you pick something else?" Seriously they need a staff change. I'm usually a patient and understanding customer but that experience was the worst I've had in...
