We have been there twice and unfortunately left without purchasing anything both times I understand changing ownership can be difficult, but this is an entirely different place The appeal from the road focuses on many many sheds … no bushes, no trees, no evergreens … nothing The beauty of the flowers and trees and hydrangeas that could be seen driving by is not present at all. It would be easy for someone to drive right by and not even stop. The produce that was there was not appealing and was expensive Hopefully, this place can come back to the glory days of what it was just one season ago We have had our children, grandchildren, relatives, out of town guests lots and lots and lots of people go there with us, and they have simply loved it They will be heartbroken to see what it looks like now Best...
Read moreIt's really bustling this time of year. Lots of trees and shrubs are available. And more to the point, if you're putting in a hedge of boxwoods or arborvitae, you can get as many as you need. Some places have just two or three of each thing. Whether it's annuals, perennials, trees, or shrubs, they have a lot of everything. No searching at 3 different places to find similar things; just get everything here. They're open long hours. They sell lots of local fruit and veggies and honey, etc. On Saturdays, it is very busy because it's down the street from the Windmill farmer's market which is only open on Saturdays. Don't let the full parking lot or the cars parked along the road deter you. There's enough product for everyone! Don't skip stopping here. I've always gotten good quality...
Read moreVery disappointed in my experience this past season with new ownership. This place under previous ownership offered and array of plants for the landscape and ones typically not found at other nursery’s. I used to go multiple times during their season to purchase many perennials, shrubs and trees. They offered new and exciting varieties throughout the season, a plant geeks dream. Along with great pricing on fruit, vegetables and my favorite Rosie’s Pastries. In the new ownership, they now sell a very slim selection of expensive plants, and dying trees/and shrubs leftover from the glory days. I stopped at least 5-6 times under new ownership, purchasing nothing any of those times. I went from spending hundreds of dollars a season there, to $0.00. A huge shame and...
