Family Mart and Grill — Local services in Town of Brighton

This place is great. It’s clean, organized and has lots of choices. If you’re bringing kids with you it may take them awhile to pick a candy they want! There are many choices and some things they get from NYC because the suppliers here don’t have them which is cool.

The guys who work here are nice and welcoming.

I have stopped in half a dozen times so far and have ordered food and also just picked up a drink.

The first sub I ordered was the Belly Buster. Roast beef and pastrami with cheese, bacon, mushrooms, onions, peppers, and steak sauce. (I don’t enjoy mayo so I held that off). It was great.

The second sub I ordered was a plain Turkey and Swiss with lettuce onions pickles and banana peppers. Nothing fancy but it was good and a much better value than a chain sub place with far more meat than a place like Subway. This is usually my goto and I’ll get it again and again from here.

The next time I ordered the lamb and rice and an order of hot wings. The lamb and rice is as good to me as places that focus on this dish. The lamb is in the form of gyro meat but it’s cut up and tastes good with everything else. The wings are breaded / seasoned. They remind me of like the Banquet brand fried chicken but spicier (not real hot!). And I say that in a good way I enjoyed them. They are not covered in sauce and were crispy. If you’re looking for buffalo wings this is not it but I enjoyed them more than many wings.

We have ordered both waffle and tater tots at separate times and both have been good and plentiful for the price.

I stopped in today for the first time, and from the moment I walked in I was greeted so warmly by the owner—it made me feel instantly welcome. I decided to try the steak nachos, and wow, they were absolutely delicious! The cook was just as friendly and engaging, which made the whole experience even better. Beyond the food, I was impressed by their wide variety of snacks, drinks, and supplies—there’s truly something for everyone. Between the welcoming atmosphere, the amazing food, and the wonderful people running it, this place is an absolute gem. I can already tell it’s going to be one of my go-to spots....

This place is simply awesome. Their menu is very extensive and the food is phenomenal yet so reasonable priced. They have tons of snacks and other home products that are great for the convenient location for late night needs.
