Search and Recovery Engineering (SRE Outdoors) — Local services in Town of Brockway

Hello. My experience so far is opposite of most reviews I have read regarding SRE. The website, order process and pricing were great. Everything showed as in stock with 2 to 4 day shipping. That was 8 days ago. So far, I have received nothing, and my order status has not changed. My order status is stalled in "order received". Today I receive an auto generated email from Nick, the CEO at SRE stating "I am awesome, mind leaving us a Google review". Even the auto CEO message assumes my order should have been received by now.

I trust everything will work out. I'll update this review with final outcome. Unfortunately, my experience has not matched the level of others.

Upon posting this review, I was contacted by SRE via phone, text and email. Very thorough and they immediately expedited delivery of my order. While the overall delivery timeline was longer than expected, I believe this was an outlier. Customer service was exceptional. Despite the hiccup, I would not hesitate to order...

Great communication - SRE contacted me immediately to inform me that the item I had order was actually out of stock but the item would be back in stock a week later. Given my situation, I couldnt wait and needed my item asap - SRE asked me, how can they do me right. I replied, can I please get a refund so I can then find another option to get my item. We both understood each other and within 24hrs, not only did I get my refund but I got another message from them apologizing for not being able to fulfill my purchase. Wow! How many good, honest companies like this even exist any longer. For sure, if I ever need another item that SRE carries, I will def get it from them. Also, they had the most lowest and fairest price for my item and that's why I initially chose them. The great communication and service was a nice bonus. ...

Edit: so I found myself heading to Milwaukee from southern Minnesota for work and set my GPS for a minor detour to visit their physical store. It was probably the absolute coolest store I have ever been in. If you've got an outdoor Hobbie, they probably have gear for it. Climbing, repelling. Camping, boating, kayaking, diving, hiking, I can go on. The young lady that was there was super friendly and didn't mind that I drolled on the sweet knives they carry 😉 Eould 10 out of 10 recommend if you are in their area stop by.

ORIGINAL: Was looking for a specific product. these guys came up in a Google search for it. Seemed to have the best price of anywhere I found and super fair shipping. They offer free shipping on orders over a certain dollar amount so that's great to know. Order was processed and shipped out...
