Culver’s — Restaurant in Black River Falls

Ordered a kids meal because not that hungry and it was only 7.99 vs 12.00+ for a value basket depending on the supersized price of everything. Portions have shrunk so bad, value is gone. One dip is now over $3 fat content is bare minimum for custard standards, lack of add in ingredients was terrible. Flavor of the day was Chocolate Caramel Swirl. So no caramel at all like the picture on the board at the register, it was supposed to have chocolate sprinkles or bits? None found and basic swirl of chocolate and vanilla custard that was no better than Dairy queen or Toms. Very disappointed with my cheeseburger. Very messy and so much mustard even after I scraped a lot off was difficult to enjoy. The broccoli was good, but there is an upcharge for swapping out the fries. Really, for a kids portion you feel the need to upcharge for a healthy choice? And one more thing, this is the reason why I probably will never go back! My receipt showed senior discount 5% on the order, but I got a penny. Last time I did the math, 5% of 7.99 is way more than a penny! I did takeout so I was pretty far down the road by the time I saw this little mistake! Tried to comment on their survey, only to have their website kick me out twice and nit save any of my feedback. So you are getting it here on Google publicly instead. Have a better training for the young...

I'd like to first start by discussing the service. In one word, super-fantastic. Moses was extremely helpful and attentive. He frequently approached our table and asked us how we were doing and if we needed anything else. In addition, several other key staff offered their services and availability. They always approached us with a smile on their face and open arms. We had a good view of the drive thru and we ate there on a very busy day. Nevertheless, Brad could be seen sprinting back and forth from the restaurant to the first person in line waiting for their food. In fact, Brad must have done cardio training at home because he was so fast. Next up: the food! The food was very tasty and delicious and good. The restaurant is also very clean. At one point, a small piece of crust fell off the right side of my burger and landed on the floor. However, the floor was so clean I could lick it right up. Our only complaint is the bathrooms. There is only one sink in each bathroom which presents a potential bottleneck to the flow of customers through the restaurant. As a result, we were delayed two minutes upon departure. Sub-par culver's. We ordered our food and they recited back what we ordered exactly to eat inside. Waited 10+ mins and found somehow they decided we were "to go" and put everything in bags. On top of that they gave the wrong food and somehow it was wrong on the recipe order... remember them reciting everything back exactly? How!?!

Bacon was cooked to a nice black char that flaked away in our mouths with the wonderful flavor of coal all on a macdonald wilted stale bun! Cheese curds were not what would be typical for Culver's, all flat like they came out of the dollar store. Coke was flat and watered down too... Yum? Oh, yes we found hair on the fries!? Sounds like their typical according to other people's review of this place, so sad they don't want to improve.

The positive part of the experience was the cashier, was super friendly and we were serenaded in the bathroom by someone that was making wet popcorn in the stall.
