We’ve visited many pick-your-own farms over the years and recently planned to try a new one. Unfortunately, when we called ahead, we were told they were already out of strawberries—what a surprise! So, we searched for another option and found Glover Farm, which turned out to be a great decision. It was actually closer than our original choice and had a charming, family-friendly vibe.
One of the best parts? They have a fun playground area that kept the kids entertained after picking. If you’re bringing a child under two years old, admission is free, which is a nice bonus for families with toddlers. For everyone else, you’re required to purchase at least one quart of strawberries for $9 to enter the fields.
We didn’t just leave with fresh strawberries—we also picked up a jar of local honey and a delicious strawberry pie from their small market stand. Both were absolutely amazing and made the trip even more worthwhile.
If you're looking for a low-key, family-friendly outing with sweet rewards, Glover Farm is definitely worth checking out. We’ll be keeping this one on our list for...
Read moreAmazing family owned farm, without the long drive with traffic way out east! Love that this farm is located right in Brookhaven. Huge pick your own pumpkin field Beautiful Mums and sunflowers So much for families to do here. There is a awesome wooden castle playground, pumpkin bounce house, corn maze , hay rides, shooting apple cannon, and tons of places to take fun photos ! The food on the weekends is delicious! They offer so many options it was hard for me to choose. I reccomend the soup and the apple cider donuts. Finished with a refreshing pumpkin beer or hard apple cider I always grab some jam and honey jars to go. Planning to go back before the fall season is over. The prices are so much more reasonable then the tourist...
Read moreWhat an adorable Community Farm. It was our first time enjoying this local Farm today and it was a lot less crowded than some of the major pumpkin farms out east on Long Island. They had everything you could want for a fun day with the family. We enjoyed climbing on a mountain of hay, bean bag toss, corn maze, tractor ride, fresh corn on the cob and pumpkin picking from an actual field off the vine. There were a few farm animals ( goats and chickens)The food was expensive, but the activities were reasonable. The only reason I gave it 4, Not 5 stars is there is no bathroom available to the public and as a mom with two young kids we had to leave when my son needed to use the toilet. Besides that it was...
