LaCorte's Farm Stand — Local services in Town of Brookhaven

Been passing this place for years and now regret not stopping in sooner. Really great selection of produce, snacks, fresh bread, cookies, cakes, pies, etc. The difference is prices are very fair and they also have a lot of fun novelties to also buy (also very fairly priced!) like painted planters and decorations that seem to be made from local artists in the community (maybe?). It's easy to miss this place even though they're right on Montauk highway. Just look for the orange pickup truck out front at the traffic light. Fresh vegetables and pies are always better than local supermarkets. This time of year there are plenty of flowers in hanging baskets. Don't forget to go all the way down to the end of the property to look at the other two greenhouses. There are plenty more flowers & vegetables...

I came here because you had a good rating. I am only rating you on the pies, which didn’t seem fresh, and what I thought was supposed to be a coconut cream pie was the worst thing I ever ate. It was more like suntan lotion flavored mousse. We threw the whole pie out. The apple was edible, but didn’t seem fresh, as it was refrigerated. I’m sorry, I’m sure you are nice people but I think you should know that you fall short...
