My family had donated our beloved pet duck to them a year prior and had to pay for them to even take it. After my two younger siblings had continuously begged to come back to visit the duck, my parents finally agreed to make the trip. When they all arrived, they explained the situation and asked if it would be possible to see the duck just for a few minutes then leave. They were told "No" very flippantly and were forced to pay the full price of $40 for only 3 out of the 5 of them of them to simply see their former pet and then leave five minutes later. My kids loved this zoo. I loved all the animals and wanted to take them all home with me. The pony ride is very short. I think they can add two rides for 5$e. Clark the camel is so awesome! 4/5 because the zoo workers are boring and just stand around. Maybe they aren’t used to 🥷 popping up idk. I asked one of the workers to name a fun fact about the bunnies for the kids because they literally just stand there. She responded, idk. Im dropping another star for that. Donated a duck to them, paid a fee for them to take it and when we returned this year and asked if our 2 kids could visit for 10 minutes, we were told that they would have to buy full priced tickets. We weren’t staying for the day, they just wanted to look at her. Simple compassion or understanding would have gone a long way.
