I do not want my experience with this Jeweler to happen to someone else so I'd like to share my story. My fiancee and I needed her engagement ring reduced in size (7 to 5.5) so I brought it to Marinelli Jeweler. They specifically stated this ring could not be re-sized and told me to return the ring where I purchased it from (that is a pretty bold statement considering they were wrong). The Jeweler confidently told me there's nothing that can be done to this ring. I'm sure you can imagine how the two of us felt after hearing such horrible news. Fortunately an acquaintance recommended a Jewelery store that has been in business for over 2 decades ( I do not want to display the stores name and turn my review into an assumed advertisement). Never did this Jewelery store lack any confidence in re-sizing the ring. They did inform us it was a tedious job but reassured us the reduction could be completed. $65 later and a sigh of relief from both of us my fiancee now wears her ring proudly. The ring fits her perfectly and the job was performed flawlessly. The moral of my story is if Marinelli claims your ring can't be re-sized don't walk out of there with your head spinning and believing your several thousand dollar investment wasn't a wise one. Look elsewhere and rest assured everything is going to be OK...
Read moreWe purchased a ring third party and needed it sized. As this was our biggest jewelry purchase ever, we wanted to go to somebody reputable. After hearing the commercials and seeing the longevity of the business, we chose Marinellis...
Long story short, we went to pick up the ring and the diamonds had gotten chipped when getting sized (apparently that is a danger in upsizing). Trusting the owner Rich would correct the situation, we gave him the chance.
After replacing the diamonds and doing more work on the ring, it turned out to have too many little issues between dings and differences.
He asked for another chance, we gave him it, and we are now VERY pleased. Rich took ownership of the problem, was very professional through the entire process and promised at the end of the day, he would make us happy!
How does he story end? He replaced the entire diamond ring by ordering an even thicker (better) setting of our choosing and hand picked the new 7 diamond replacements (normally valued at $600 per diamond for replacement). The new ring is arguably better than what we originally brought in and we are grateful we chose a reputable jeweler such as Marinelli's as I question such a good outcome would have happened somewhere else.
Based on the promise to make you happy, I would have to recommend Rich and Marinellis! Thanks for the beautiful new ring, my...
Read moreMy father purchased a promise ring for his girlfriend. The stone had fallen out 2 different times and both times we went back marinelli they took care of the problem after repairing and charging us. We went back this afternoon because the VS1 diamond that we purchased after the fact had fallen out now for the 3rd time. When we went in we asked to speak to the owner he wouldn’t even come out to speak to us they gave us 1000 different excuses as to why they couldn’t fix it and said they wouldn’t take responsibility for it. We will NEVER shop here again especially when the 2 other times we went they tried to wiggle out of fixing it until we showed them the lifetime warranty paperwork and refused to leave until the problem was fixed. Today was a terrible experience and we refuse to do business with someone that doesn’t honor there word. Being in the service business for over 30 years this is terrible customer service and I highly recommend to NEVER SHOP HERE!! The owner Rich...
