Sprangers Orchard — Local services in Town of Buchanan

I grew up going to this place and always loved it as a child. However the new owners completely ruined the happy family experience. Decided to bring my own children, to experience what I did as a child and not only was the worker rude she lied to me when, I asked her a simple question. I ask if the pumpkins where still weighed and charged the same by the pound, like how the previous owners did it or is it a new method. She tells me it was still the same so, what I thought would be a reasonable price for pumpkins, ended up being outrageous. Then, when I ask her why she told me something else, she got defensive and was completely unprofessional. I will never bring my family back, just another once enjoyable place gone. Don't even bother bringing your family, clearly workers aren't welcoming and don't care about giving you wrong...

First time at Spranger’s Orchard.

We were greeted by a female employee who wasn’t relatively friendly, so not a good a start. The orchard is massive, which is good. Lots of variety, apples were smaller, but that might be a seasonal factor. The one constructive criticism point I want to make, the trees need to be more clearly marked, indicating what type of Apple you’re picking, as the ‘paint markers’ they put on the trees to map a specific apple, is very dull and just not executed very well, compared to how other orchards like Hoffackers does.

I don't usually take time to write a review on a business, but I felt this is surely worth the mention! I had been a little late this year to get my favorite apple 'Spartan'. Rodger told me the best time to call for next season. Then about an half hour later I received a call back- that sweet man went out in the orchard with a ladder, found and picked some that were left on top of the tree! To take the time to do this and call me back- that is awesome customer service!! They are just east of Appleton on CTY KK, are family ran, clean and neat and really great quality and prices.
