Bought some apples a week ago and when I went to get one they were not in my fridge then realized I must have left them in my basket or in the checkout. I had my receipt with the purchase on it and went up to tell the girl at customer service I didn’t get them. She said she has to call someone which I assumed was a manager. The girl came over and I explained it to her and she said she would be right back. So I waited while she changed some receipt paper out for a cashier then came over with a book and looked up the date I bought them and apparently in the book are things that are left. She tells me that only mandarin oranges was the only item on that date in the book. I told her again that I did not get them and she looked at the other girl and said I guess we can call so and so (don’t remember the name) to see what we can do. At this point I was frustrated and could not believe what I was hearing so I said just forget it I am not going to argue over a $5.00 bag of apples! They call themselves Topps Friendly Market?? I come from the south and if I walked into Public’s (best supermarket ever) with or without a receipt they would say go and get another bag no questions asked!! They might not have all the frills like Wegmans but they teach their employees a class on superior customer service!! If they don’t pass the class they don’t go on the floor. Supermarkets up here should take a lesson from them and maybe they might have more business. Public’s supermarket is a pleasure to shop in!! Disappointed Unhappy customer with...
Read moreHad to stop at tops to grab some milk and a bite to eat. Went to the deli station to grab a wrap, with 0 customers in line. They took my order wrote it down and said it be 10 minutes..I found that odd as it wasn’t busy and it What? was a 4-5 minute order not a 10-15 minute one. Service was sad, the lack of urgency and laziness was apparent. They over portioned my order completely shredding my wrap. Even worse the woman was training someone who stood there awkwardly knowing she was just annihilating my order. I did talk to the manager to make him aware that his employees are slow, costing the store money, and putting out terrible food. A wrap is simple enough, if you mess up that it surely says a lot. Will not be returning. And what’s with their frozen green beans being 3$!? I can pay 99cents a bag practically...
