For years I have trusted Old Brick with all of my furniture needs. Recently we had our first ever hiccup where a leather recliner was defective and required new parts to fix. Unfortunately for everyone involved these parts were coming from China. It took nearly 10 months for these parts to arrive. Needless to say I was frustrated with an unusable new chair for that period of time. Compounding the issue was the fact that I was getting little information and communication back from the Customer Care team initially. Thatās when Trish stepped in. Trish heard my story and frustration and committed to chase the parts down for me and more importantly keep me informed regularly good or bad. Trish followed through and did exactly that which eased the pain of the situation because I at least knew I had someone who cared and was advocating on my behalf. She was able to resolve the situation and the gentlemen who came back with parts in hand went over and above to make sure the chair was better than before the parts were ordered. Ā Ā Ā Read moreMike C came to our home on Wednesday August 22. Personally I have recently had a total knee replacement, Mike was amazing. He analyzed the situation with the recliner, tightened several things, installed additional foam under the springs and then put the entire shooting match back together again. This man truly cared. During recent times what we old folks called āCustomer Service ā has all but disappeared. Mike took charge and before he left had me sit in the chair, I could tell immediately improvements had been made. Is the chair the same as the day we brought it home home, no, its not, however the difference between before Mikes arrival until now are impressive to say the least. It should be noted, after the surgery, I literally slept in that chair every night for 2 months. That is a lot of wear and tear. In conclusion, I want to thank Mike for his service, caring and kindness. In addition, the lady I spoke with on the phone, Gina, was so courteous, she listened, got all the facts correctly, and somehow found the perfect repair person to make the chair much more comfortable after his visit. The chair was sent back to Tennessee to England's factory to have them remake the chair. The chair was returned to me not repaired but cobbed up by the factory. Old Brick stood behind the purchase and issued a full credit towards the purchase of a new chair. I would like to thank Trycia, Donna, the two drivers that returned chair to me. All were very professional and a pleasure to work with. I have always liked the way Old Brick does business you are not a target when you walk in the door.
