Super Foodtown of Croton — Local services in Town of Cortlandt

I work in Croton. My workplace is 5 minutes away by car. This Super Foodtown has everything! A Bakery! I've purchased a delicious chocolate mousse cake on two occasions. A deli, which I enjoy there prepared salads. They make good sandwiches as well. This store does take pride in there produce section. It always appear fresh and someone is there checking, sorting stocking the area. Fruits and veggies are displayed at the main entrance. For me, it feels like they want to promote health eating. Honestly, I always buy bananas because of that! This store also accommodates those who want organic. Vegans are welcomed to shop there as well. If I can say the have a fiber section also? Like, you buy flaxseeds, barn oats, quinoa, etc. This stands out to me because my local grocery had a very small section. Oh yeah, did I mention there is a sushi section too! In morning, there are two sushi chef preparing for the day. I really like this store. There's even a long time cashier, who knows me by name and she always asks did I found everything I needed. Overpriced, price gouging, poor imitation of Mrs, Greens. Organic veggies are so old better cook and consume the day of purchase. Last Wednesday was shopping for three people. Franz, the manager started screaming at me and cashier because some items were not eligible for food stamps ( I assume that was why Franz was screaming) he kept repeating there was as line. Yes Franz, I know, I just spent 25 minutes waiting in line because you had ONE cashier station open at 7 PM. No excuse for yelling at customers. Foodtown is so much better than the place that stood in the lot before. The vegetables and fruits are always fresh and it's a great sight to see when you first enter, there are 3 different places where you can try their food (fruit, cheese, and bakery) the fruit one is always full of melons and more, very tasty. The diversity of fish and seafood is astonishing. The cheeses are also very good. The bakery area is my favorite part, always smells great and is great to look like!
