Purchased a battery from them, (well all our ATVs have battery world !) In February and was having occasional dead battery in my '12 Highlander. It'd got 150k so anything can be a cause. I assumed I needed a new battery because I killed it (had issues getting a dashcam installed)
When I got there I was warmly greeted and got my vehicle inside the garage right away. They tested the battery, said it was fine. Looked around and saw the contact points were loose. That caused corrosion and just made the problem worse and worse.
The Service Tech was so kind, cleaned everything up in minutes (hand cleaning would have taken an hour) reconnected the battery and tested everything! She fired up and tests still showed a fantastic battery.
They could have sold me a slew of things, making a couple hundred easily off me. But they were honest and didn't let me pay for the time they spent working on the car that they did. Time is money in a business.

Read moreI am giving a five star review because that is all that is possible. I would rate 10 star if available. My son could not start his lawn mower. I put a meter on the battery and got zero volts, i.e. totally dead. Took the battery to Battery World. Bob tested it; it was perfect for voltage and cranking power. First, kudos to him for not selling me a new battery. He also gave me three things to check to troubleshoot the mower. Second kudos to him. I checked the battery with my meter again while at the store; again nothing on the reading where the meter should be set, but full voltage on a higher meter setting, completely confusing me. I went back in and asked an employee if he thought my meter could be deficient on the setting that gave me a zero reading. He noticed a symbol on the meter indicating low battery in the meter. Put a new battery in the meter, and it works fine. Kudos number three. And proof positive that my diagnostic skills are...
Read moreJust about any type or size battery for just about any item you can think of, including obsolete batteries for obsolete electronics. While I was there, someone got a battery for a old camcorder and another person a battery for a pager. I thought I time warped to the 1980's, but then they had the specialized batteries I need for a rocket electronic components and the batteries I wanted for the launch system. They also ran a full bench test under a load on the batteries I brought in. There was no charge for the testing. The staff is very friendly, polite and willing to help. You won't find a variety of brands, but you don't need it as long as the battery meets the specs that you need. You will also find that they're much cheaper then many places for...
