I've always missed the arcades of yesterday.
Nowadays, there are arcades like Dave & Busters, but those are stuffed with 'app' arcade games. Which are basically phone apps blown up into an arcade machine with one button. Awful. Even if you can find a pinball machine, it's all automated with a LCD display and very few actual moving parts.
Then there's Skill Shot. It feels like walking into 1999 when you enter the spot. Classic pinball, NFL Blitz 2000, Area 51 and a lot more. I'm beyond grateful to live so close to the place and throw down 15 bucks whenever I can to enjoy the limitless play.
I couldn't recommend this spot highly enough to any retro gamer that misses the arcades of the 90's. Staff is always welcoming and it has that feel of a 90's arcade. If only they allowed indoor smoking, then it would 100% be authentic!
Worth the drive, worth the price of admission and worth the dive into nostalgia. Awesome spot that deserves all the good reviews...
