Was really happy with how things went with the new warehouse. First off the young lady that checked me in was pretty awesome got me checked in and a door right away. Dispatch kinda messed up and scheduled my loading while I was still unloading in Ohio. Not Americolds fault but I became a work in. Like other Americold's work in is the last truck of the day. I would be out of 14s I asked the obvious question could I overnight on there lot. Almost surprised the answer was yes I am extremely grateful. I don't think they would want to do it for every truck but I was happy they let me. I only had 1 real problem that will be rectified next time. They open your doors load the truck close it and seal it from the dock. I like that however with them being in control of the doors they must assume responsibility of securing the load with the load locks provided. I don't much like having to restack freight in front of the receiver. I realize this is a new facility so there probably don't understand what happens during transit. With me unable to get in the trailer and secure it myself I depend on these shippers with these docks to do it. To other drivers just remind them to secure the load us...

In a perfect world, this would be a good place to pick up.. but trucking is never perfect.. Still one of the few places to charge you a$155 if you’re not pre cooled to -10 degrees even if you get there in time. The fee is waived if you give the an update 24 hours before pick up. (Stupid is as stupid does) I guess predicting the next 24 hours is a requirement for this place. With the rates the brokers are paying now, it really kicks you in the gut. The $155 fee is disguised as a lumper fee instead of a late fee(technically, you made your appointment time), to probably hide it from all the flak they are getting. It’ll be no use pleading you case with the shipping office..their responses are tailored to deny your request. They will pretend to consult with the broker of the load who will have an ultimate say on whether you get charged or not?? They will inform you that the broker took care of it, but expect the $155 to get deducted from your settlement. There are better places to pick...

Very professional and organized. This facility is Top Notch and should be used as an example how to run a logistics cold storage. There is over night parking for drivers and clean restrooms for drivers to use. Very truck driver friendly. I came in early and they unloaded me quickly, asked if I could stay for my break and they where super accommodating. Plenty of space to maneuver in and parking available. I would also like to call out Samantha in the office, she greeted me with a smile and was super nice.
