East Hampton Town Clerk — Local services in Town of East Hampton

Generally speaking this place is okay. I've gone here for town permits, etc. Unfortunately, I recently got the "pleasure" of speaking/dealing with Kyle in this clerk's office. I spoke to him a total of 4 times in 2 weeks... each time he was not helpful. He was full of excuses and unnecessary explanations after asking him a simple question. He didn't point me in the right direction or attempt to direct me to someone that may be able to assist me... it was a very snobby reaction. He made insensitive comments, thank God it was on the phone and I wasn't able to see his facial expressions. I was wholeheartedly disappointed. As a contractor who predominantly deals with NYC DOb this Office gets 5 stars . This was our first time applying for a license and i was so taken back by how nice and professional they where by phone and at the office Lucy was a sweetheart , we look forward to doing business in this town knowing their building department is so pleasant...
