We recently visited Ellicottville and had a fantastic experience at The Boardroom. We were coming all the way from Arlington, VA and had no prior knowledge of the area. We made reservations online for my wife and I - it was a breeze, and they were ready for us promptly upon arrival. Later, we returned to rent gear for our 9 and 4-year-old children. The staff were incredibly patient and helpful with the kids, making them feel like little VIPs. They took the time to ensure the gear fit properly and even offered helpful tips for navigating the mountain with young children.

The shop itself has a great selection of gear and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We even bought a few pieces because the prices were good and the staff was helpful (bought 2 helmets, gloves, and turtle fur). You can tell they prioritize customer service and strive to create a positive experience for everyone, from seasoned snowboarders to first-timers.

Wonderful ski and snowboard shop owned by a local family. I stopped in recently because I had some questions about how to maintain my skis during the season in between tune ups. Mike was very patient and was able to answer all my questions and offer product suggestions on how to solve my problems. I will be back soon to get a full tune up, sharpening and wax.

Since I was here I figured I’d look around and see if there were any goggles I liked. I was thrilled to be helped by a saleswoman who took her time answering my questions and making helpful recommendations. She made sure to wipe down anything I touched so the inventory would be safe for the next shopper. I was lucky to find a great pair of goggles which happened to be on sale .
