I rarely leave reviews. Especially one star reviews. This was my experience with this place.
I purchased a glass piece. It was on the pricey side but nice and the owner did a good job of selling me on it. She even demonstrated how sturdy it was.
Unfortunately after one use I accidentally tipped the piece and it shattered. I totally take the blame for being clumsy but Iâve had other glass pieces in the past that weâre way cheaper rollover the same way and not break.
I went back to the store with the hope that the owner would offer a reduction in price on another item. While I didnât expect much in return I certainly didnât expect the first words to come out of her mouth to be.
âWell I can sell you another one.â
She then went onto explain how fragile glass is which at that point I realized I was dealing with someone that couldnât see the Forrest through the trees. I thanked her for her time and left.
If the customer service was a little more empathetic with the offer of some kind of discount (didnât have to be a large one) then this would have earned repeat business from me and positive word of mouth. Two things that are crucial for a local business competing against an online marketplace (you can get same quality stuff for half the price on eBay). I will never purchase anything from this place again nor would I recommend anyone go here and Iâve been in this area for a long time (remember when this was the gun exchange for a long minute? Lol)

I take back not recommending/ bad mouthing it to potential customers, as if I ever had that kind of power lol, I was annoyed at the time and for that I apologize. I personally still wouldnât shop there again though not because you wouldnât offer me a discount or refund but because your initial response âI can sell you another oneâ was rude and so was your response to my review where you continued to write insults, âhead examinedâ âno brainsâ âentitledâ is that really necessary? Itâs a poor way to de-escalate a disagreement over your return policy. I wasnât playing any games with you. You got paid your money and unfortunately my piece broke after one use, things happen. Iâm sure if it was the other way around you could appreciate how that is a little frustrating. If your response had been a tad more empathetic I would have bought something else. But youâre right, no one has to be nice to each other. We got to discussing so many things....from proofing to Vegans, this gentleman knew his stuff, and he takes it serially. His goal is to provide his customers with their every need with fair pricing. He went over everything with me, and extended himself with any problems that may, but not likely arise.
