I wanted a tree for a very special reason. My beloved wife passed away last June and our wish was to be cremated and our ashes placed within the roots. I went in and spoke to Ken, a very nice man and a expert on trees. I told him what I wanted and he made a recommendation for the perfect tree. We decided on a Red Point Maple 🍁 for it vibrant color in the fall, my wife's favorite season. I arranged for them to do the planting. The young man who came to do the planting (forgive me I don't remember his name) He did a wonderful job. This tree means the world to me and everything went perfect. I heard about Storyes from a coworker cuz I was looking for a dwarf Japanese maple tree. I called them up asked if they had one. I had to nudge the lady on the phone to look up to see what the price was. She told me $90. I asked if she was sure cuz I live 45 minutes away. She said she was. I went up 2 days later they had them but they were $260-$290. The guy that asked from across the nursery if we needed any help came walking over not wearing a mask. I felt as though they catered to the rich. I did not feel welcomed. Anyways good news is my boyfriend found me a the tree at Walmart for $15. Bad news is it was a wasted day when I did t have to travel all that way...
