Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Town of Guilderland

I'd like to share my experience visiting tractor supply today. Everybody that I spoke with was extremely helpful but one employee went above and beyond. I went there looking for an item that's large and in high demand. The website said that you could only buy it at the store so I drove to the store about 13 miles away. When I was there I took a while walking around and thinking about things I might need for my home repair projects. I did not see the item I went there for, but I picked up a few other things. While checking out I asked the cashier if she could help me figure out how to get the item I was looking for which is a 2 ft x 2 ft x 6 ft stock tank. People use these either as garden elements or hydration stations for their livestock. I needed it for the former. She called Matt over to help. He checked in the back and confirmed that they didn't have any for sale but he did know that there was some out front that had some plants in it. He offered to remove the plants give me a 5% discount because it was slightly used. Seeing as this item is hard to get I happily agreed. He cleaned it out & rinsed it off and helped me get it into my vehicle. I actually wasn't sure if it would even fit in my car but he helped me try to troubleshoot that as well. I was able to get the item I went there for thanks to this young man's willingness to go above and beyond. The only reason I'm giving tractor supply 4stars is because I noticed during my time there that the employees were trying their best but the store did not provide them with very good communication tools. They are trying their hardest corporate !! Please give them better tools to be able to communicate with each other. The store will run more smoothly and be more efficient and maybe the lines won't be as long, and I'm sure your employees would...

Great grain free dog food options that will not break the bank. 4 health is their brand and very affordable, even their non "grain free" has no corn, wheat (gluten), soy, or byproducts. These are the worst things in dog food, and highest allergens. Our dogs have sensitive stomach and skin, and their 4 health in chicken, or lamb are very gentle. It is just as good, if not better than brands like blue buffalo, and a out 1/2 thr price! My girls also do well on the grain free sport mix brand, $35 for 40lbs! It comes in many flavors. The employees will bring the large bags to the car for you, and these brands also have reasonable priced treats. Their toys and leashes are basic, priced similar to other stores, although they do have a rewards program with coupons and special offers. They also have food and care products for every known animal, warm work clothing, country decor, and excellent specials on pet beds, esp at the holidays. Large nice plaids and fleece beds, $10! If you have never gone, try it before petsmart or petco, esp for the very reasonable prices on their 4 health food. Also most locations offer vet and shot clinics on the weekends, for very reasonable prices. One last thing, in spring time, go and hold a baby chick, duck, or bunny, it will change your life! Tried to purchase a riding tractor through this store going way out of my way past 2 more local stores since this store had the item in stock. Ordered online for pickup got confirmation next day. I went to pick up later in that day to find out the item was sold before I walked in. Left with no item and an empty truck with trailer that I towed out of the way. I would not recommend. Update to reply below - I called corporate today at that number and they were unable to assist other than saying they will contact district management. The rep continued to indicate the item shows as not picked up.

Update: changing from 1 star to 3 since TSC customer service showed true to their customer. Although this situation should not have arose, This TSC store was able to make good on this purchase and locate and deliver to me. An inconvenience to me but I’m glad they were able to...
