Smaller venue on the second floor. They have a bunch of old school arcade games. You can play the arcade games unlimited for a small fee. There's neon painting and VR games for additional fees. Party packages available. There's alcohol available for adult parties and the usual pizza/finger foods. Pizza was okay. Chicken fingers were tiny. The employees were nice and helpful. They get 3 stars because the place was kind of dirty/dingy. The arcade games and things like bubble hockey - definitely hadn't been wiped down for a while. Sticky fingerprints everywhere. (See photo) No hand sanitizer stations. They need to do better about cleaning all the surfaces. So many people are touching them and my fingers got sticky on one of the arcade games. I went to wash my hands and discovered no warm water in the bathroom. The bathrooms were gross and haven't had a decent cleaning in ages. Dirty toilets/ floors and sinks. I did observe the worker do a half hearted job of wiping down the VR head sets and hand paddles after we used them. Had it been clean, they would have received a better rating. Equipment like this needs sanitizing multiple times a day. I would consider the pricing a bit steep considering the cleanliness of the venue and VR options. Not sure about the alcohol prices, as we were there for a child's birthday.
All that said... Overall, it seems like a good place to bust boredom and take the kids for a few hours. Good casual place for adult date night or to book a party for team building with companies or employees. Bring hand wipes/sanitizer if you're immune system is...
Read moreTook my son and a few friends for his 9th birthday. Rented the party room. Kids had a blast, as did I, even though I was a bit out of my element playing VR with a group of 9 year old boys! There was something for everyone in terms of VR games - and parents comfort levels for their kids with gaming / violence / fear factor etc. We probably could have used a little bit more instruction on: how to use the VR, unblurring the headsets, how to use the controls but we all still had fun regardless of if we knew what we were supposed to be doing. Party room was clean. VR equipment was clean and we watched the staff sanitize as soon as our party was done with our 60 minutes of VR. Kids loved the old school / nostalgic video arcade games and while there was not a huge selection of arcade games the kids could have probably played another hour plus. Owner was super kind and accommodating for my son who has life threatening food allergies - allowing me to read labels from the kitchen to determine safety of serving to group. Owner was also super knowledgeable sharing with my husband and I recent studies and implications for VR usage which was fascinating. Overall a good time - spent about 3.5 hours total there and will...
Read moreWent here for a work outing. Played for an hour and it was pretty fun. I didn't know what to expect.
We played the "Alice" in wonderland themed co-op game. The puzzles were moderately difficult to solve without hints, it just took a minute to figure out the controls. After about 10 min I figured out what I was doing. The sound in one of my ear pieces kept cutting in and out with static so it was a little annoying but not a deal breaker. My left controller the movement button wasn't working properly (I didn't realize they were both supposed to work) so if you were holding something in the game I had to keep switching hands.
The pizza was actually pretty good, surprisingly!
I probably wouldn't try it again but it was fun for a one time thing. No sign on the door that you have to walk up some stairs to get to the venue. A lot smaller and less games than what I pictured in my head. A little amateur looking building with wires going everywhere, curtains, etc not a huge deal but it seems like they could have done a better job with the areas making it a little tidier. Overall very...
