We stop anytime we’re in Burdett or visiting Watkins Glen! Everything they sell is local, and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. The meat from their farm is AMAZING - we’ve tried the ground sausage, filets, ribeyes, and brisket. Truly the best meat we’ve ever bought at a store, and super reasonable prices. You also have to try the salt bread, pancake mix, and maple butter. The owners are so friendly and I love their updates and info on their social media pages. Anytime you visit there will be new seasonal items to check out, so it’s worth going regularly if you can! It’s also cool to see an old firehouse converted into such a cool little shop.

In town for a long weekend, stayed at the Burdett house B&B (10/10) and stopped here before heading home. Bought local corn, several pieces of beef, home baked cookies, and an all natural deodorant. Shop local and stop here. Pictured is a local artist working on a mural on the side of the Burdett exchange.

What an adorable shop in the middle of an unassuming village. I was very happy with the majority of the stuff I bought, including some beef jerky, but I really love the idea of the store and wish it would be implemented more where I live. Highly recommend you stopping here if you are ever in the area!

It’s no surprise this place has five stars across the board. Their premade burgers are, hands down, the best we’ve ever had. You can tell the owners deeply care about their own products and the products they source. Your tastebuds will be the first to tell you that. Additionally, the owners have shown me they care about this community and it’s members. What a gem. If you’re looking to source mostly local, this is the place I recommend you start. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to stop in, this is it. Support your local farmers and...
