Overlook Coffee Company — Restaurant in Town of Hector

Whenever I travel, finding a great coffee spot is part of my process. I was struggling to do just that with our stay on the East side of Seneca lake until I came across Overlook Coffee. A quick drive into the quaint little village of Burdett brought me to one of the best coffee and subsequent dining experiences that I've had in a long time. When my wife and I entered Overlook Coffee we were greeted by three friendly staff members that seemed genuinely happy to be serving us. I ordered an espresso and my wife ordered a Chai Latte. Both were fantastic. The next morning I swung out on my own and grabbed a Cortado to drink on the car ride back to the place we were staying as well as two iced mochas to enjoy out on the deck. I am super excited for a quality roaster and coffee house coming to the Finger Lakes! I received 2 bags of beans from Overlook Coffee for my birthday in April, and it was devoured in two weeks!!! Smooth and rich, sooo good! Overlook will definitely be stocked again in our pantry and brewed throughout the year!

Great coffee shop! After we booked our airbnb, in Burdett, a month or so ago we did some research and learned that they might be officially open when we were in town and we are ecstatic that they are. The 2 drip coffees (Ethiopian and Colombian) and the Americano with their “equinox” beans have all been incredibly tasty. The owners are a super friendly couple who are very warm and welcoming and are fun to strike up a conversation with.
