Horrible Experience – Unprofessional and. Inconsistent Service

This salon is the closest to my house, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, my experience was incredibly disappointing. The owner always seems “busy,” though it’s unclear why, as the place is usually empty.

The first time I went, I had a nail appointment, but I had to wait two additional hours without any prior warning.

The second time, I booked a hair appointment for a Brazilian blowout but decided to switch to a keratin treatment a week before. The price quoted was $150, and my appointment was at 3 p.m. When I arrived, the owner was nowhere to be found, and I had to wait another hour. After all that, she informed me that they didn’t even have keratin treatments available! Despite my frustration, she convinced me to go with the Brazilian blowout, assuring me it was similar to the keratin treatment.

It wasn’t. My hair looked exactly the same as when I walked in—no improvement at all. I had to return 48 hours later for a blowout, which I had booked with the owner. But instead, an employee did it, and the experience was terrible. She was rough, yanking my hair, and even poked my eyes and ears with the brush.

I left the salon angry. Later, the owner called and offered to redo the treatment for free the next time. I reluctantly agreed. A few days later, I returned to show her that the blowout hadn’t worked. She said I couldn’t do anything to my hair for three months and, after that, offered the keratin treatment at half price.

To my shock, the new price for the keratin treatment was $450, meaning the “half price” was $225, even though I was originally quoted $150! On top of that, she expected me to pay full price for the blowout that was supposed to be free!

This salon is completely unprofessional—terrible communication, price changes, and rude service. I will not be going back and definitely won’t recommend it to anyone.

When searching for a nail place near me in Levittown this place came up GINA NAILS23. As I do most of the time. I read the reviews to gauge whether I should try this place or not. I was kind of shocked because a few of the reviews were not great, but some of them were beyond amazing. I decided to give the place to try for myself. Since I really needed to get a pedicure and a Fill in. I called to see if I could get an appointment or if there was any availability. And the owner who is very sweet said she was sorry. There was nothing available and she would call me if she could squeeze me in. She actually called me back and told me to come in which I was very happy about. I couldn't believe how beautiful this place was when I walked in the door. I'm very picky and I actually design for a living. So believe me when I tell you I was impressed and for good reason. Everything is absolutely gorgeous. That's great, but now we had to see how the service was. All the people were very nice. And when I sat to get my pedicure, they offered me a coffee which they brought to me in a beautiful China mug on a tray. I was blown away. The girl Bertha that did my pedicure was very sweet. The pedicure was excellent. She was. Very detailed and caring with cuticles. And filing and polishing everything. The Fill in. I got was excellent and the shape of my nails is great. I can't say enough. Good things about this place and I am definitely coming back. Please. Do not believe the bad reviews. They must have been people that are just unhappy to begin with! I give this place 5 stars and I would give more if I could. They also do hair here! The owner is so dedicated to this business. It's amazing she is open 7 days a week and works long hours....

this salon was recommended to me by my sister who had a great experience and i was unhappy with my previous salon. this salon is absolutely gorgeous-- very modern and perfect for taking cute pictures tbh. the nail tech was lovely! i got tips and an acrylic set. it did take longer than i was expecting-- almost two hours-- but the tech was extremely thorough and took her time with the nail prep, making my cuticles pretty, making the shape perfect. in the end, i love my nails and i'm excited to go back. the staff was all friendly and nice, offering drinks or snacks and letting me know it is totally okay to ask for the tech to change/adjust anything. and in the end, it was only $45????? i was paying just over double that at my previous salon where the service was rushed, my tips would fall off, and the tech would cut my skin. in the end, i definitely recommend...
