I discovered jada’s luxury beauty supply from a YouTuber named Eloho. She mentioned it was black owned and I was hooked from there. Then she mentioned jadas product line that come straight from Africa that does wonders for your hair and it’s all natural and healthy. I was primarily interested in the curling custard and WOW. Don’t get me wrong I love my Afro texture hair but every now and then I like to switch it up. Man I used to have to use harmful toxic chemicals in order to achieve the look I get from the curling custard. Then shave it all off. With jada’s luxury curling custard I could just wash out the product and presto back to my natural fro. Never seen anything like it’s amazing!!!!
Jada’s a warm kind person who’s highly intelligent not just in what she’s selling but very knowledgeable in health, medicine, nutrition and in all aspects of life. Including history especially real black history. I went there to purchase some products I ended up staying for hours having intellectually stimulating conversations. she’s also college educated which I admire. She’s very kind but definitely not a push over. She has to be one of the very few owners of a black owned beauty store so you have to be tough.
She keeps it very professional and I’m definitely going to keep coming. At one point I just couldn’t take the racist nonsense by these non black beauty supply owners. They could act nice all they want due to the overall opinion of the because of the pandemic but it’s fake and I see through it. Speaking in foreign language when they can speak English in front of you all one will only assume is that they’re being talked about. It’s a horrible feeling that makes you angry and just in the way they grab the money from your hands smh. i made up my mind to buy products just online from black owned then I the. I discovered jada’s beauty shop from a YouTuber named eloho a fellow Nigerian. I’m so happy I finally have a place that is black owned and that I can go to. I’ll just add this you may not agree with everything family does but that’s still family and you support family no matter what....
Read moreThe best beauty supply store and shopping experience I’ve had in a while because it’s black owned and the owner Jada is such a lovely person. Very kind and professional. There’s not a single product she doesn’t know. And kind tell you everything there is to know of the product and it’s uses. It’s a beautiful thing to go in a business owned by someone who looks like you and don’t hate you or suspect you of stealing because you’re black. Her prices are fair and in fact I wish I could get at her double. I’m so happy and glad she’s in a black neighborhood. I wish there was more of her and more of our own supporting our own. If people only knew how shady certain people are who run the black beauty industry and are making sure black people do not own or profit from the black beauty industry simply because of their skin color then more black people...
Read moreI went in here for the famous COCOBlack Naturals curling custard and ended up leaving TWO HOURS later after learning everything I never knew I needed to know about hair care. The owner was super friendly and knowledgeable, and after I admitted that I knew absolute nothing about doing my own hair, gave me a curl pattern analysis, individualized tips, product recommendations, and a bellyache from her hilarious stories lol. She had every product I’d ever seen on YouTube, and knew everything about each one. I felt like I was buying hair products from a family member. Make sure you stop by her shop and support your sister! Come for the edge control, stay for the extra...
