Temple Hillel — Local services in Town of Hempstead

I wish I could have written a review without having to rate this so called rabbi Stephen Graber. Recently a dear friend of mine passed away. My friend Allen Miller attended this temple for many years. His son got married there, his granddaughter got married at this temple. His grandchildren were batmitzed at this temple. Any religious activity for this family took place at Temple Hillel. Allen Miller continued going to temple for years until he was unable to read the prayers because he had lost his sight. When Allen passed away recently his wife asked Rabbi Stephen Graber if he could do the services for his funeral. His answer was an emphatic no because the family had not paid dues. For a Rabbi to be so callous and mean at such a a crucial and sad time in a family’s moment of grief is truly unfortunate and unacceptable.
