Irondequoit Plaza — Local services in Town of Irondequoit

Wonderful place right under my nose... Apparently there's a very large, very cool antique shop, well mall really&its closer than the drive out to the country. Not that I mind that ride, it's beautiful&should be done once in awhile or always for personal sanity but we have so many treasures right here and I've actually been on the top side of this plaza&I never knew the Antique Mall was just downstairs waiting to be discovered... If you're looking for a unique gift for someone or even yourself, there's something you've been looking for but can't find this is definitely a place to look. There really is unlimited items to browse through. The staff is very friendly&extremely helpful. Shamar, Glenn & Pamela helped us along our maiden tourist adventure as again we'd only just discovered this collection was here&we went last Saturday&then back again yesterday. They were kind to us newbies bc we were lost most of the time but we all had a good laugh&it was just alot of fun. They told us they also have a larger facility, I cant even imagine larger, wow, in Farmington&we will be taking that drive as well to check that out. So again if you're looking for something special, unique, different, a treasure from years gone by or the right gift for anyone I'll bet you could find it here&if you need help just ask any employee there, they treat you like they've known you your whole life, a very refreshing change of pace in today's society&just many, many things all around to offer so its worth finding the time to go check it out. Recently moved from Washington state to NY, had to get new drivers lic. and reg. for my vehicle for NY. Made my appt. as required by the pandemic rules. Went to the appt., with all documents I had anticipated they would ask for to complete the transfers, only to find out I was missing a document. The DMV rep. stated that if I could go and get the document and be back by 1430 that afternoon (it was about 1210 at this time), I WOULD NOT have to make another appointment, only just come to the counter, and she would complete my transaction, and she did. The DMV rep did not have a name tag displayed, so I do not know her name to give the proper cudo's and recognition to the individual. She and ALL the staff that waited on me, on that 19Aug2020 visit should be commended for their professionalism, courtesy, and willingness to help get it right THE FIRST TIME!! If I was to give a star rating for this visit, this DMV location, and staff would receive a " 10 * " rating..... would I visit this location again? Yes most definitely!!! Currently, Wegmans, Aldi, Dollar Tree, Family Dollar, and Hallmark are the top names in the plaza. There's a computer store, international salon school that offers cheap cuts. If you are a brave soul and don't have any upcoming events, go ahead and check it out. There's a post office box, and a bus hub. Fibe buses come to the plaza: 37- Clinton, 33- Goodman, 35- St. Paul, 134 - Hudson Limited, and 34- Hudson. There are a few stops "near" the plaza aside from the main stop (at the entrance of the main plaza, facing Aldi across the street). Oh, Dunkin Donuts is across from the bus stop. A bank is over here. This is no humdrum plaza. Just be out by 10pm. Wegman is 24/7, everything else closes at 8,9,10pm. Wegman stops serving quick meals around 9/10pm, I believe. However, you can still sit in their seating area.... it's about the only decent place to sit late at night.

There is wheelchair accessibility. If you are disabled, you can ask for a chair at Aldi. Wegmans have about 4 mechanical wheelchairs. Aldi has one...
