Good morning, First I want to say how much I appreciate the franchise and the quality of merchandise that is always stocked for the consumer and customers. Unfortunately this is not the kind of comment I would like to leave for this store I’ve been shopping at for the last 30 + years, not this store in particular , but many others close to by residents. Let me begin, I am Doordasher ,Instacart representative and a Combat Veteran. Today around 1115pm I’ve received a pick up for groceries via DoorDash, it took me around 25 min 16 miles to arrive at the Titus Wegmans location approximately 1136 for 44 item total.
At around 1145 I had 13 items left and was approached by a night manager, the store will be closed in 15mn; I understood and told the manager I am Doordashing and will almost finished and I can’t cane the order I’m more than half done,
The store manager approached me again 5min later and told me to stop and proceed out; I replied and said can I atleast finish this little items that are on the aisle and location I’m at ;
The manager then told me No very rudely, She told me to cancel the order; I told her i really don’t have that option the app, So I called the customer informing them the store is closing and I can’t proceed anymore; the customer seem to have an urgent issue and really needed the items , so they told me to just pay for the items in the cart and refund the rest. I then proceeded to the register but was escorted paced behind me by multiple manager around 2min till 12 .
I then refunded all the items on the application by the option the items where unavailable and so the application will allow me to finalize the batch order and pay so I can exit the store;
I finish paying but it is required for me to capture a picture of the paid receipt; I asked politely if I can take a picture rather rushing since I never rebuttal any of their request to hurry up and leave, the Security pointed at me in my face and told me to leave because other employees need to go home; This made me feel embarrassed and harassed and
I’m lost with to define how I felt, I complied without a word and let the building to a far exit to west side of the building employee entry only. As I left i took time to stay outside in the cold to snap a picture and load the groceries in my vehicle,
I realized I couldn’t find my keys; I looked for them in my car, I returned to the store and asked if I dropped my keys and explained I’m a veteran and when i get startled, I have short term memory and all the rushing aggravated me and I don’t remember my keys; the manager looked and told me come back tomorrow , good luck , and took my information.
As I walked back to my vehicle not knowing what to do, I notice my keys on the ground , it must of slipped out when I was taking the pictures of the receipt and rushed out the store.
Thank God I found them and I was not stranded and was able to deliver the items.
This was just very unprofessional, inconvenient, mishandled and triggered my disability in many ways.
I’ve never been in a store where I felt unwelcome and antagonized.
I’m brining business to this store and making sure we all get paid and bringing customer service merchant to customer , bridging that gap
Remedial training is needed as well as handing couriers services like Instacart, DoorDash etc.

Read moreOn quality I got to say some things are starting to change.... but I love Wegmans! It's not a bash or negative review by any means, but you're a Rochester staple and when you were only local, your food was top quality insane; of the best in the nation. Everybody needs to stop complaining about the price when you get what you pay for. always . ...
Hey Danny Wegman - think about this..... You're That guy who his corporation needs to legit stop growing I can't stand the fact that because things have to be made consistently, The taste and food quality goes down. Who cares if every grocery store gets the identical same thing . regional foods that are specifically trendy for that area. Should be definitely prioritized still by your brand but that's how the world works. People in Rochester. Don't need to know about a hot sauce in Atlanta so to speak. You know what I mean. Like maybe the New York market loves old fashioned real custard Boston cream Donuts and people who are down in Virginia really don't give a Sh&# ...I mean they do but they don't .....Like for real, everything has changed maybe instead of making everything consistently the same but less quality. Let's focus on the original stuff like your homemade in-house eclairs holy crap with those amazing or Long John Donuts like you guys take things away. That were so good. WHY! LOLOLOL IM Laughing now because they were hard to make because that's how it was. It was good. Never mind. I'm going to go on a rant and Rave anu're getting too big for your britches I mean anything. Not one thing in the bakery tastes the same as it used to for years ago and I'm like Homer Simpson with...
Read moreThis store and Neighborhood has declined precipitously in a few short years. This store is filthy despite many employees milling about aimlessly. Expired food on the shelves months past their expiration date and mentally ill and or homeless people roaming through the store and parking lot. Oh and lets not forget the brawling street people who come to this store due to its lax security to scream yell and fight and scare the living daylights out of people who just want to complete their weekly shopping in a safe clean store in peace. Unfortunately you cannot do that here. There has never been a day that I have been here where there wasn't a screaming baby , out of control child running amuck or fisticuffs breaking out between "locals". I hate to say this but this store attracts very bad people and elements from the worst parts of inner city Rochester. Even with police and "asset protection" present, it is very unsafe to shop here. Therefore I will no longer patronize Wegmans in or near any inner city. It is not safe! Now I understand why they closed all their stores in the city of Rochester except one, and utilize the Irondequoit PD and the RPD to provide security. Certain "people" always want to complain about "food deserts" but never the ghetto/ratchet behavior that causes people and companies to avoid investing...
