Do not waste your time calling them! I was told I would receive a call 24 hours prior to my apt. My apt was on a Monday, silly me for assuming I would receive a call on Friday to confirm. Needless to say they called on a sunday nite at 7:36 to confirm my apt for Monday. I missed the call so it went to voicemail, but I called back 2 minutes later at 7:38 and noone answered so I left a voicemail. Their voicemail says if you aren't calling during business hours that someone will return your call the next business day. I waited until 2 p.m. on Monday, no return phone call, so I called them to reschedule,. They indicated to me that they would not be rescheduling because I didnt give them 24 hours notice. I politely reminded her that she didn't give me 24 hours notice and when I tried to call them back they didn't answer. WAY too many handyman services to bother...

The quality of the installation I would absolutely give it a 5. The gentleman was thorough professional cleaned up and overall did a great job.

However, the final price was more than double the highest quote we got and part of it is we had to pay for him to go get materials twice.

$300 for 20 feet of surface raceway and a $60 service charge on top of a bill for labor seemed excessive.

After thinking about this some more, I am updating the review to a 1. I knew we were getting screwed on the price of materials but once I looked it up and realized it was $35 in materials and they charged 10x the cost of materials. And the irony is the guy said he went to Lowe’s not even to Ace to get the materials.

The intent of this review is to convince you that Ace Handyman Services can help you. Ace are honest hardworking people you can trust. And in the end, that is all that matters. I had started several new projects in our new house and quickly got overwhelmed with the complexities of working on an older house. Mike and Justin came over and evaluated what was going on and jumped right in to help finish the projects in time for our move in. We had multiple projects to accommodate for our handicapped son's care. On time, self starters, they picked up my burden and made our new house a reality.
