Sweet Memories Candy Shoppe — Local services in Town of Lakewood

There's a bit of a wait at the counters and registers since they are very short staffed, but everyone there did their best to keep up with the orders and maintain professional and cheery attitudes. This is not a good place to go if you have an appointment to go to afterward though since it is HUGE, and could easily take half hour to an hour or more to explore and see everything in there. And it's a good idea to give yourself plenty of time every time you go, not just the first, because they are always getting different things in there. Love this place! They have the candy we had growing up, the candy my parents had growing up, and the candy my kids had growing up... even Black Jack gum right now! They also have gifts, taffy, fudge, chocolates, toys, and ice cream. It's a wonderful place to visit for kids and grown-up kids!

I absolutely loved this little gem! So much to choose from and even fun toys for kids. I found many things to bring home to kids and grandkids. I really felt like I was in a magical place until I got to the cash register. I normally base my score, heavily, on how the customer service was. If I were to do that the score would be 1 star. I loved this place so much that I just can't rate it low. You need to check it out and just pray that the staff are feeling a little "sweeter" than they were...
