I'd say this place is bucolic in every sense of the word. You'd want to have your own vehicle if you plan on visiting this place as it's quite difficult to reach here. It's a perfect place for a family outing as there is a children's play area and a basketball court. The country people are very amiable and hospitable. It’s a great park, out of the way yet big enough to feel like you can spend some alone time if you want. Right on the water so it’s frequently windy — bring sunglasses for sure so the glare off the lake doesn’t blind you during summer!
