Updated 2021: Stone Soup Antiques recently relocated up to Route 50 (2144 Doubleday Ave) in Ballston Spa. The new space is flooded with natural daylight which is fantastic for envisioning your purchases in your home, everything is located on one floor so no stairs, and they have private parking instead of hoping for a space nearby on the street. I see it as an upgrade over their former location downtown.

2019: Best antiques experience in upstate NY. This multi dealer shop is full of ACTUAL antiques, not junk, not crafts, not scented candles, etc. It's an old brick factory building wonderfully restored, very clean, no musty smell so many antiques stores have. An absolute phenomenal antique store, from prices to set up. A wide variety of antiques, sectioned out like a museum. The store is very large! Loved how each price tag had a description of the piece and its age. Wonderful furniture, lithographs, magazines, dishware, and jewelry - just to name a few items this place has to offer. Really enjoyed how their antiques range different eras as well, from the late 1700s to the 1980s. A very warm and welcoming place, the customer service was the best I've received at an antique store. If you’re looking for unique antiques, you need to visit this place! As a lover of all things jewelry, I was able to find some really sweet antique pendants in the glass case near the entrance. There’s so much to look at and explore, it feels like you’re in a museum! There’s odds and ends for all interests whether it’s jewelry, books, home decor, this gallery has it all!
