Walking into Mi Casa is like getting a big, warm hug from someone you've known forever.
First things first, the vibes here? Absolutely unmatched. Picture this: you're surrounded by these incredible murals that look like they've been painted with the joy and colors of Mexico itself. You can't help but smile as your eyes dance from one piece of art to the next, each telling its own vibrant story. And then there's the music – oh, the music! It's like being serenaded by the heart of Mexico itself, with every strum of the guitar and every beat of the drum echoing through the place, infusing it with life and laughter.
Now, let's talk about the food because, trust me, it's something you want to hear about. It's like every dish has been passed down through generations, made with love and a magic touch that only a true family-owned spot can offer. The flavors? Bold, authentic, and downright delicious. Whether you're diving into a plate of the juiciest tacos you've ever tasted or savoring a bite of their homemade mole, it's a culinary hug that you'll want to experience over and over again.
But here's the real secret sauce of Mi Casa: the warmth and the welcoming vibe. It's the kind of place where everyone knows your name by your second visit, and if they don't, they sure act like they do. The staff treats you like you're one of their own, with smiles and genuine kindness that makes the food taste even better (if that's even possible).
Every corner of Mi Casa is filled with laughter, chatter, and the kind of community warmth that makes you feel like you belong. It's a spot where memories are made, where families and friends come together, not just to eat, but to share in the joy of being together. Leaving Mi Casa, you're not just full of great food; you're filled with a sense of joy and belonging.
In short, Mi Casa is the kind of place that captures the heart of what a family-owned restaurant should be. It's more than a meal; it's an experience that stays with you, making you feel like part of something bigger – a community, a family. So, do yourself a favor, swing by, and make some memories. Trust me, you'll be planning your next visit before...
Read moreWell this was our second experience with take out. First time was pretty good. This time not so much. First of all after taking my order the person on the other end of the phone didn't ask for a name or number. Was told it would be 45 minutes. So we waited to leave home. Arrived early. Walked in to witness the hostess goofing up the order of the guy in front of me.
She didn't even acknowledge me. So I sat for maybe 10 minutes no one even bothered to see if I was being helped. Then after all of that finally a waitress after seating a family. Asked if I had take out and walked away. So tick tock and 10 more minutes finally the hostess returns with the other guys order. Now the lobby is filling up. She finally asks what I ordered.
Now another 5 minutes and watching her bring water to the new table. I have our food. Now it's been an hour and 15 minutes since we ordered. We live just a few minutes away so no worries right? Well, we got home the food is cold. By cold I mean it had to be sitting in the back for quite a while.
So very disappointed and probably last time to this place even though the green chili pork is so good. Service says a lot especially considering the cost. No offer to make our order right. After what I witnessed we definitely wouldn't attempt to sit down for a meal. Good luck to you. Good help is...
Read moreIt was awful. I ordered a regular margarita. I've had all kinds of margaritas. From the Adirondacks to NYC, Fla, California to Mexico. From $5 to $20. From street vendors in the Bahamas to high end restaurants. I used to bartend. I don't ask for call brands. I'm not really hard to please...Margaritas are yummy. How bad could it be? It was bad. It tasted like nothing except for a slightly unpleasant taste. I likened it to feet...not that I've really ever had feet, but it was that distasteful. I sent it politely back, saying I would have what my friend was having. Thinking a strawberry one would have more taste. It came back slightly pink. A huge difference in color from my friends. Both my friend & I gaped at it. I sent this one back & watched the bartender take my lime out of the glass with his FINGERS. He dumped into the communal blender, splash something in it & send it back to me. Now it was wicked salty on the BOTTOM of the drink (sipping through a straw) from the rimmed salt being thrown in as an ingredient. I got a beer instead...additionally the food was not hot & the chimmichaga wasn't crispy. Neither of ours were. Yikes. Just yikes. I'm not sure the board of health would have appreciated the way my drink was handled by I did not. I would give it less than one star if I could. The...
