RUDE! RUDE! RUDE! Stay away! I went a purchased a bunch of records. This tall manly looking older woman was omnipotent & uptight. I spent 1.5 hours looking through records. I checked everyone of them individually for scratches & to make sure the correct record was inside. It was 20 minutes to closing when I approached the counter. The impolite woman demanded that I place the records on the counter because she has to look through them. Okay, no big deal except she was rude. I advised her that I wanted to look through them myself first to make sure I wanted all of them,. Her reply, "Didn't you do that already when you spent over and hour looking at them?!" WOW! Anyway, I let the person behind me go to not hold up the line to make sure I wanted all the donated vinyl at $1.99 per record. I placed them all on the counter & the woman started taking them out of the cover & the sleep and examined each one individually. I asked her what she was doing & she explained that she was checking to make certain that the correct ones were inside. I advised her that I examined each record carefully while in the store for over an hour. She then exhaled a very big sign, rolled her eyes & said, "Well, this is the policy & I will be doing it again!" I was then pissed! I did adopt & an attitude with her that met hers. The other staff in the store were mumbling judgemental language towards me regarding the transaction. The woman was then placing all the record sleeves all crinkled back inside the covers. I starting taking them and fixing them & again another attitude! She said, "You can fix at home we need to leave soon" It all went downhill from there. I left & called the corporate office & I am waiting for a call back to lodge a formal complaint against the staff at this location. The prices are insane, $1,500 for a used couch! The staff is rude! So much for a Christian organization. I have been shopping there for many years and never had anyone demand that each record be...
Read moreThis place is amazing. I used to think this was only a place to get building materials. I had this idea that since Habitat builds houses, the Restore Shop would be limited. Not so!
In addition to building supplies, they have housewares, furniture, sporting equipment, holiday decorations - almost anything you can think of - except books and clothes.
The merchandise is constantly changing. They have a high turn over. The quality is good to excellent! The prices are incredibly low.
Go. You won’t be...
Read moreI’m not sure what’s happened here. There used to be 2 wonderful polite gentleman that were helpful and genuine. The woman at the dock was extremely rude (to another donor) she refused their dresser and couch after making them clean it! After I dropped my stuff off I went inside and I can’t believe the prices! Used, dated furniture for the same price as I could order new on Amazon. It feels like they have lost their original purpose of helping lower income families. I’ll donate my...
