Nature's Prize — Local services in Town of Newstead

This shop paid me almost what my glock was worth brand new even though it was more than 25 years old. The owner was very nice both on the phone and in person. However, if you plan on selling a firearm back check ahead of time to make sure they have cash on hand if that is how you expect to be paid. I went in on a Tuesday, got $100 toward the purchase price and was told I would have to come back on Friday for the balance. I received a call on Thursday to pick up the balance owed but could not get to the store until Friday afternoon. I called on Friday morning to be sure the owner was there and ready for me to pick up the remainder of what I was owed. He said to stop in anytime and when I arrived he did not have the cash and had to write me a check. I was a little thrown off by this since HE CALLED ME the day before AND I had to make the special second trip out there (costing an additional $15 in gas alone) because funds were not originally available on my first visit. Like I said, I did receive a GREAT PRICE for my pistol...I just wish communication was a little better so as to avoid the second trip that felt like a waste of my time. I wanted to purchase a bow for the first time, I’ve never hunted before but would like to get into it so if you can imagine I was a little overwhelmed prior to walking in because I had no idea what questions to ask or what I was even looking for. Dave started with me and from that point I knew I was in good hands, he walked me through many great options, gave me tons of advice and guidance and never pushed an up sale at all, just helped me figure out what was best for me. I ended up with a beautiful elite bow and then Tyler helped assemble the whole thing and get it adjusted to me. I was thrilled with the entire buying experience. Needless to say to say after playing around with it for a day I tried it once before bed without a release and it slipped out of my fingers and I dry fired the thing, I was SICK over it. Next morning I walk in first thing and by the way it was a holiday, Dave looked at it, assured me it was ok and I didn’t screw up too bad and he fixed it immediately and never asked for a dime, those guys are great, knowledgeable, and have a passion for the hobby!
