Make sure Douglass Ford will honor your extended warranty before scheduling any service! Bought a 3rd party extended warranty with our brand new F250 from a Ford dealer. After moving, started going to Douglass for all service. Needed our SYNC system looked at. Told Douglass Ford we have an extended warranty. Made the appointment, they diagnosed the problem, charged me for the diagnosis and refused to honor our 3rd party warranty (Millennium warranty), told me to go back to where we bought the truck. After calling Ford Motor Company, Basil Ford of Cheektowaga and Millennium warranty company, called Douglass and spoke to Randy the service manager. I told Randy that if he didn't want to bill the warranty company all he needed to do was to call Millennium to confirm the part was covered, I would pay Douglass directly for the repair and settle up with the warranty company myself. Randy told me "it's too much of a hassle". Needless to say we will not be returning to Douglass Ford for any service and will definitely not be purchasing our next F250 from them. First was bad ball joints upper and lower. Then cracked transfer case. Then electrical issues. Entire harness is shot. Completely done. Just glad I no longer have to let my 2 small children ride in that death trap...
