Chantique Spa — Local services in Town of Oneonta

Let me start off by saying that I suffer from migraines. Today I tried something new in hope that it would relieve the pressure causing the one I had today. After a few calls around to different Spas Chantique had an opening today and was able to get me in. My massage therapists name was Marisa. I have had massages in the past however none with an immediate impact, that is until today. Marisa was amazing. Super friendly, super nice and professional. She focused on the area's I needed her to (other places I have gone to before would somewhat focus on an area briefly but would move into their normal routine). Because she stayed in the "problem zone" she was able to relieve the pressure and disperse my migraine. The area in my right shoulder is bad and will most likely require multiple visits to work out completely however I already feel a huge difference and I literally just left the spa. I highly recommend this Spa and Marisa specifically. The prices are reasonable for what you are getting and as I said before it's the first time I left a Spa and already felt relief. The Spa was clean and very relaxing. She asked questions about table temp. pressure, etc. to ensure I was completely comfortable and relaxed, and ensuring what she was doing was indeed helping verse causing further pain. Got a gift certificate for a 90 minute massage. Got there 955 for a 10 am massage filled out paperwork and then went in by time we got started was between 1010 and 1015. ( I looked at clock on wall) Thr massuse was very good at her job. But when she said she was done I took my time to get up and it was 1125 I had been laying about 3-4 minutes. Did math in my head said that's only about 70 minutes. Got dressed went out and asked about the time. She said no we started at 10 I said well it's just 1130 now so we were definitely short. She said you got here early and we started at 10. Soo we were still short. Even with her timeliness which was incorrect. I normally tip after but being shorted 20 minutes figured that could be the tip. Would recommend watching the time if you go...

First time at the spa. Great customer service, beautiful and clean facility. Prices seemed competitive and well worth it for the services provided. I had a facial and Shellac pedicure provided by Kate. She was very knowledgeable about the facial and did a fantastic job. The pedicure felt fantastic and looked great!
