Interskate 88 — Local services in Town of Oneonta

I was recently there for a friends birthday party on a Saturday afternoon and the place was so overly packed it was impossible to walk. They had 12 birthday parties going on at the same on top of ppl here just regular skating separate from the parties. The staff was so unprofessional and very rude. The skates were so dirty and old , the laces would not longer tie they broke off. The food was so horrible the kids didn't even eat the pizza given. The kids were only issued one cup of soda the entire stay for the 3 hour party. It was absolutely insane.​​​​​​​​​​

In response to the "owners" comment below: No accommodations were made. All that was received from the staff was nothing but rude gestures and attitude, and not only to myself but to several other ppl included in the party. There was absolutely no other drinks available to the table reserved. No pitchers of water were EVER brang to the table. Laser tag was assigned when the help assigned it, the food was delivered whenever the staff felt the need to deliever it. And as for the cake , there wasn't even any cake bought by your establishments, it was cupcakes that another friend had made. And of course the kids ate the cupcakes bc the food offered was disgusting. And if you didn't have so many parties going on at once you would have known that the time slot offered was definitely indeed a 3 hour time slot and there was ABSOLUTELY no way anyone in the party stayed beyond the 3 hours. Woman at the front desk charges a different amount each time for homeschool skate. Pricing signs are not up, and that's an issue. Feel like there's some money grabbing going on because it doesn't make sense why every time I would go, the price was always different. This has happened to a few of us in our group and we are starting to take note. Also, the food is poor quality and overpriced, takes too long (30 mins for chicken tenders?), and you'll notice there's hardly any staff, which is why they're frumpy when people get to the food counter and they realize they're behind on orders and totally unorganized. There was no soap in the bathroom last time I went. I got ripped off from the broken change machine and another one of their kid gambling machines....

We went to Interskate 88 with family this past weekend for my twin brother, who has Down's Syndrome, and my birthday. Some skated and others played lasertag. The staff were very accommodating to our needs! We didn't know how many were going to be there. They told us to just show up and they'd charge us the cheaper of the package or individual rate. They told us to just let us know when we were ready for lasertag. Everything went very smoothly and we all had a blast!!! I think they do need more staff.
