Ontario Country Max is a great store! I love coming in and strolling around and looking at all the cool stuff they sell. Items range from pet supplies to pet food, outdoor decorations, fish, ferrets, birds and reptiles. They are all well taken care of until the time of purchase and come with money back guarantees. The pond in the middle of the store sells coy fish and they carry a wide variety of mice, for pets or food, your choice. The store is large so make sure to wear your good pants and you'll spend quite a bit of time walking so maybe stretching a bit before heading in will be helpful. The inside is clean and the staff here are very helpful when needed but sometimes you might have slight trouble trying to find a staff member if you need help. The shelves are all neatly stacked and you'll find so many things for your pets it'll be hard not to spend alot. The prices are good and won't hurt your bank account. I'd much rather shop at Country Max then Petsmart or Petco. Just my opinion, and I'm rating a solid 4...

My wife and I have been shopping at Country Max on 104 in Ontario for years. First and foremost their staff are customer focused and always make certain you are satisfied both with their products and service. In addition a majority of their customers are there to meet the needs of their pets. It is obvious the Country Max staff are all animal lovers and sincerely care about each customers pets. We mainly buy their “Bully Sticks” and other assortment for our pet dog. Prices are much cheaper than even Amazon which says a lot. I took my dog for a bath (self wash) at this location and it was horrible. The shampoo dispensers were not working, so they left an almost empty bottle of shampoo laying in one of the tubs. Not sure what kind of shampoo it even was. It barely even cleaned my dog, he will need another bath. The “leash” to attach the dog to the tub was broken, so my dog kept getting out of the clasp of the leash. Only one dryer worked so I had to move my dog to the second tub while he was soaking wet to use the dryer. Overall it was dirty and dingy looking in the room.
