A PC Clinic — Local services in Town of Orchard Park

John has been taking care of my parents' computers in Williamsville for maybe a decade now. I am a computer information systems professor in Chicago, so I have a decent level of knowledge about what John does--and at times have done similar work myself.

I can tell you that he has made numerous house calls to my parents' house. He has worked on probably four computers and five or six printers over these many years. His work is smart (he diagnoses problems well), conservative (he doesn't take unnecessary chances), thorough (he doesn't cut corners and he tests out the work he does), and correct (we've never experienced a situation where solving one problem created another.)

His work has been as varied as installing new software, setting up new PCs and printers, tuning the OS for better performance, removing viruses from PCs, trouble-shooting individual apps, trouble-shooting hardware issues, and trouble-shooting networking issues.

Beyond the quality of his work I can say [1] he has always been courteous to both my parents and me. He even takes the time to answer detailed questions I've asked by phone or email to understand why he is taking the approach he is taking. [2] He is very VERY patient with both parents, who sometimes have limited understanding of their computing environment. [3] he provides these services in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. And [4] I've actually learned a few things from my interactions with him.

I find it funny how all the negative reviews don't have a real name attached to them... Anyway, my experience with A PC Clinic has been nothing less than spectacular!

I have been maintaining my computers for years until this last time. I got an error message that would not let me win. My whole life was on my laptop and I couldn't access any of it! I found A PC Clinic and based on the real reviews went to them first. I was NOT disappointed! I ultimately chose to get a new computer - which I am currently writing this on, and it works perfectly! PLUS, John not only saved EVERYTHING from my old laptop, he transferred it all into an external drive! The old laptop was wiped clean and recycled as well. He is an angel! I couldn't be happier! :)

Ruined a PCI-E port on motherboard, HDD wasn't replugged in and screw were missing when returned. Owner was a nice person but will not return.
