I LOVE Dr Palter and absolutely every staff member at GCIVF. Dr. Palter really treated my case like it was the only one he had. He’s super honest about your odds and what you should expect, and I really appreciated this. The news wasn’t good for me at points and he never sugarcoated anything and just told me point-blank what was going to happen. Other doctors I saw didn’t do this and kept me guessing which was infinitely more difficult in an already very emotional time. I don’t wanna be told everything may be fine in a week when it’s clear it won’t be. Dr Palter broke tough news to me personally in a warm and understanding way. He took the time out of his day to call me to tell me my transfer was successful. And the couple times I needed to call the after hours number, Dr. Palter himself called me back within five minutes after 9 PM on a weekend! He truly cares about his patients and their success. I was never once treated like my questions were silly. (though looking back a few were lol) This practice is run in an extremely organized and professional manner and info about my visits including instructions was always available within a few hours on my portal. One thing that was clear was that Dr Palter and his team were very thorough. Where other doctors tend to work on hunches and gut feelings, Dr Palter relies on fact and test results. What ended up being my issue was against the odds and I actually had a couple other bigwigs in this field tell me there was no way I had this condition. Thankfully I saw Dr Palter and he diagnosed my condition quickly and I feel so grateful that I went with my gut and trusted him to be the one I went on the IVF journey with. After he found my condition he continued to test for everything else under the sun to give me the best chances possible. I spent HOURS researching success rates and all other types of statistics and let me tell you this practice is solid. He is DEFINITELY the best in Long Island and from my research the state and probably beyond. He’s the one with the perspective, knowledge and know-how to find the answers other doctors simply miss! He works quickly and I feel like this place just has the recipe. I literally cannot say a bad thing about any experience that I had here! His protocol worked great for me and I was taking a very low dose of meds for the type of results that I received. Dr Palter himself would check on my progress daily thru the stim phase. I felt great with little recovery after all of the surgical procedures he performed on me. And the results were incredible!! I was so stressed about this whole thing beyond belief and he just got me amazing results thru the whole process! After so much disappointment and a rough road anyone who arrives at the decision to do IVF faces Dr Palter and his staff were just able to make everything okay! I had a beautiful baby thru my first IVF and transfer here and I will literally always be indebted to this office and forever grateful! Annemarie is also so amazing (everyone is I could write pages) she was such a rock for me thru this process and I always looked forward to seeing her. After a long time of trying to get pregnant, miscarriage and tube removal my husband And I finally accepted the fact that we needed ivf if we ever wanted to have kids. Two of my friends went to Dr. Palter and both conceived, I did my proper research and decided to give this clinic a try. Boy, am I happy I did!! These beautiful people did so much for me.. always answered my questions, picked up the phone every-time no matter when. I remember after my transfer I was a bit nervous about a few minor things and it was around 11pm at night. I gave the clinic a call, the machine asked me to leave my number and that I would get a call back, no less than two minutes later Dr. Palter was calling me to ask me what was my concern, he addressed it and quickly made me feel safe and I will never forget his one to one attention, bedside manner and understanding.. he’s truly an angel! The ladies at the office were all so wonderful too, I often miss them and my visits but fortunately this wonderful team of angels all helped me achieve my goal! I got pregnant on the first try.. I always listened to all of Palters recommendations, and let him decide what was best for me. Meditations and keeping busy helped me remain patient during the process because I knew that they knew what was best for me so I listened and did what was asked of me. There were lots of ups and downs, set backs, and challenges along the way but none of us gave up! They always greeted me with a warm smile and guided me the whole way. I am currently 6 months pregnant with baby # 1 and I sure will be back! I am so very grateful to Dr. Palter and his team, they all work together and truly love what they’re doing. I am so happy I came here and you will be too! Keep believing and let them do their job because they know exactly what they need to do to get you to your goal! Be patient and don’t stop trying.. I love this team, and I will always come back to see them and say hello because they were and are such a great part of my journey! I cant recommend them enough! ❤️❤️❤️

I would like to update that my boy is now a 2 year old beautiful, smart loving toddler. Stop thinking about it and go speak to Dr Palter and his team of angels! Wishing you the best of luck on...

Edit: This response from the owner is incorrect. The MRI CD case had instructions on what application to download. At this point, this office had my MRIs for awhile and weren’t getting back to me after multiple calls so I was not going to request another MRI copy. Also, NYU advised me that this is the only way to download it and his office should be able to. Also, I only had a follow up meeting with Dr. Palter because I wasn’t getting any response from him so I suggested it. I was tired of the back and forth and no answers.

I have not received any call or communication from the owner apologizing for their delay, lack of communication, nor their unprofessional staff so I’m leaving this review as it is.

Giving one star only because Dr. Palter seems pretty knowledgeable. Other than that I wouldn’t speak positively about anything else. I called so many times and I’d either never get a call back or no update. It took emails, calls and 2 months before he finally reviewed my MRI. I expressed my disappointment many times so I’m sure he knew and yet offered no apology when we spoke. Imagine no one calling you back to the point where you have to leave a comment on his instagram page and he calls right away.

I also suffer from ptsd from past trauma. Due to that I begged to be put to sleep for a procedure and they refused. They are an office that performs procedures with anesthesia so it seemed like they didn’t really care that it would retraumatize me.

Seems like he needs to spend less time on social media and more time educating his office staff on how to provide care for those like myself with infertility. The last call I had with someone she kept saying, “I’m being professional “ and “I don’t want to argue,” while I’m explaining that anti anxiety meds don’t really seem to help me and I’d need to be to sleep.
