Village of Kiryas Joel Office — Local services in Town of Palm Tree

The building department is ridiculous. I don't know who placed this Goldberg guy in charge but this needs to change. So irresponsive, lazy , unbothered. Not professional at all. The staff can't even get a hold of this man. They place you on hold and then the call drops . I called back and no one answers. I submitted a FOIL request 3 months ago and I still have not receive a response via mail or mail this is not acceptable. Someone please go...

I can't thank the village enough for all the services! The property tax is extremely low, there is a village bus that goes anywhere and is always available, garbage is collected daily, and the sanitation and water charges are low. Public safety patrols are present on Shabbat and Yom Tov, and the customer service provided by the community services is excellent. The Section 8 department is always there to help as well....

Safe and welcoming community. If you are not chassidish or willing to accept different lifestyles easily it's hard for you to understand the mentality...
