Verizon — Local services in Town of Pleasant Valley

I bought a Verizon mobile router here, and was assured it would work with other carriers. After a month I decided to switch my provider to T-Mobile, got their sim starter kit, but it turned out to be not compatible with my mobile router. I called Verizon, who told me I was misinformed about my mobile router, and suggested I take it back for a refund. I took the mobile router back to the store, but both the clerk and the manager refused to take it back, because the refund policy on the mobile router was 14 days. I should add that the manager was quite rude and suggested that I should've read the return policy more carefully, because "he runs a business here, and cannot take his products back whenever". Also, it turned out that this store was not an official Verizon store, which mattered for the extent of influence Verizon had on them regarding the return policy. First I want to say how amazing Brian was. He was the only employee working when my wife and I walked in for new phones. Brian was super knowledgeable and helped get us any discounts or trade ins that applied. He then started the data transfer on both phone while answering the phone and helping other walk ins. Brian handled every issue with a resolution and never seemed overwhelmed. He kept updating my wife and I of our status as he helped other customers. I have been in different Verizon stores, even in this one before and personally as a verizon user here in Hudson Valley area I never found the professionalism in an employee as we did in this store. Last night I went there to help a friend that had a lot of issues with his cellphone we met BRIAN a very nice and skilled guy.
