Steele Hall — Local services in Town of Pomfret

One of my favorite places for swim meets. SUNY Fredonia College is an awesome study complex. They have all sort of sports fields and halls. Sadly swimming pool is only 25 yards instead of 50. All the sports halls are connected together in one huge building complex. Place is clean, there's elevator, decent amount of restrooms, locker rooms. There is Tim Hortons coffee shop too. Plenty of parking space around. Meets are usually well organized....

The pool is a decent one however the track is just horrible. It's over 30 years old, close to 40. It's a small 160m track, harder than concrete, and most of lane 1 is cracked and worn down. Going within 100 meters of the track is guaranteed to give you shin splints. Do not recommend running on if you don't have to. Makes Buff State's look amazing...

I wasn't there for a game, but for a dance performance. The sightlines were great. The only thing that might be difficult for some guests is that it was rather cool.
