L A Nails — Local services in City of Dunkirk

If I could give no stars I would. I had made an appointment at 12. And I got there at 12 exactly, and was made to wait a half hour before they took me. When I finally got called over to a booth, I had showed the nail tech (a man) a picture of what I wanted (a blue to whole ombré nail with my index and ring fingers glittered.) and he got to work right away, was very professional however he ignored me when I told him to cut the arcrylic shorter. Until his wife Tina, came over and took over. I showed her the picture as well and she got the right colors, but she laughed at me when seeing my nails which is extremely unprofessional. When it came time for the filing, she cut two of my fingers in multiple spots!! Then told me to stop tensing up. And instructed me to watch the tv because she doesn’t like me watching her. not to mention she had used a hand file on me and then the same exact one on the girl next to me! It’s abundantly clear that sanitation is not a priority here. About an hour passed and Tina said I was done. She forgot to put the nail glitter, and when I pointed it out I was told it was too late because she had another appointment. I then had to wait 20 minutes for the to let me pay. It cost me $60 for I completed nails that were the wrong length, done by an employee/owner who laughs at and cuts her customers. After I left I noticed that she didn’t file the edges of my nails at all. I ended up taking my own nail supplies and fixing the edges. This was my second time coming and I will not be returning again. By far the worst experience at a nail salon. Very bad customer service, not at all a good job for my requests,communication is very difficult, when you want something specifically done to your nails they do opposite, also very rude, they don’t take their time and always in a hurry, husband is slow but never a good job and he certainly don’t listen to customer, I also have a translator on my iPhone because they always be talking their language to each other while customers are there, which I find very rude and they seriously be talking about the customers and laugh at us!! I was so upset with them and even had a gift certificate with me that still had like 95$ on it when I left, I certainly did not leave a tip, just gave them the certificate told them to keep it because I won’t be coming back, husband replies, Tank you..🤦‍♀️ I would...

do not go here. coming from someone who does nails and is getting their license this place is beyond unprofessional. they don’t use gloves, they don’t have sterile products, and their work is not worth the price. the lady who did my nails was very rough and very rushed. the guy who was doing my friends nails cut her with the drill. the acrylic she laid was so thin it matched the thickness of the tips she used. she could not match my inspiration photo in the slightest(which was a basic pink french tip). the tips she used were colored and way to curved also they were coffin and i wanted a sharp square that i was very clear about(she also couldn’t match the shape). all in all don’t waist your money here i recommend going to an independent professional...
