Shop here only to pick-up a few well priced basics. Most products are 10-30% higher than ShopRite with local Hispanics purchasing ultra-fatty & unhealthy cuts of meat at ridiculous prices. This company has no compunction making huge profits & margins on the most susceptible. I saw some poor guy purchasing a mini 2-3 pound bag (one use) of charcoal briquets for like ten dollars. You can buy 2 twenty pound bags (40lbs) for the same price at Lowe's or Home Depot. Recommend checking dates on some less popular shelf items. Though convenient for many, there are better choices nearby for larger and better valued purchases. The store's infrastructure is virtually unchanged since the 1970's from the Grand Union which it replaces. There are "potholes" in several aisles where tiles are missing and the concrete foundation is deeply gouged out. No effort or attempt to repair this appears obvious, yet it's a simple fix. The route to the bathroom located in the storage area in the rear is scary, and I aborted mission before I got there; dark, unpleasant and deplorable. Shopping carts are old, haggard and filthy and are all sourced or recovered from other food stores. If you present a manufacturer's coupon, expect the cashier to leave with it in hand without notice, hand it to "management" who will take it to a locked office and examine it with a scanning electron microscope and other crime detection tools they have at their disposal to attempt verification of origin and authenticity. God. Where do I begin to describe the absolute wonder that was my experience at this absolutely spectacular establishment at which one can purchase food and other goods for consumption? If I could give this incredible operation 10 stars, I would. This astounding business had everything I could ever need ever. And so much more. In such plentiful numbers, my eyes could barely comprehend. Such a plentiful bounty, akin to a cornucopia fit for a monarch of either gender. The cart I had was not enough for all of the magnificent goods in the store. I wish I had multiple hands to push hundreds of carts to truly get the most out of my short time at this incredible store. Truly spectacular. And if that was not enough, which it is more than enough, I had a life-changing experience with a petite Latina cashier. Her elegance at scanning my plentiful feast truly rocked by world and changed my entire perspective on life. I am a changed man. I will go down a better path, all thanks to this miraculous grocery store. This is not simply a grocery store. This is the key to a new life. I go here often for mostly egg, beef, pork and chicken products. Very Good selection. Good prices and sales sometimes.I was going to complain that some of the workers aren't friendly (No "Hello, Good afternoon or Have a good day, or Thank you come again!) but yesterday I dropped my wallet and 2 of the workers chased after me, even though I was almost long gone. It was returned and I am very thankful. So even though they aren't friendly at the register I can tell they are all good people just trying to get thru their work day.
